Yes, it's China. Yes, it's a typical Chinese hotel. What else would you expect? That said, the hotel is comfortable. The staff are courteous, the housekeeping very alert, turned up the room thrice in a day, has a well stocked mini bar. Mind you, I opened a satchet of tea, and I was charged for it. Maybe I overlooked the complimentary tea bags. There's one negative though, which I would like to suggest to the management. Keep entire floors as non smoking. I was allotted a non smoking room on a floor which also had smoking rooms. The non smoking rooms were on the left section and the smoking rooms were on the right section. The buffet breakfast cannot be called lavish, but it is more than adequate. There are choices of salads, fruits, beverages, eggs, noodles, breads, congees, Chinese as well as western dishes. Promptly replenished too. Very satisfying. Again, the staff weren't very well equipped with English, but hugely helpful and polite. The toiletries also were good, and they do have a tub and a shower cubicle. Also an iron and an ironing board to spruce up. The west side overlooks a lake, which afforded a pleasant but not a gorgeous view. In the basement level, they have an independent spa, which offers a sauna and other amenities which are payable. There also is a very well equipped gym. The gym is complimentary for hotel guests. So is the use of the swimming pool. Please carry your trunks, if you want to use the pool. Or else you would need to buy trunks at the pool. And the trunks are a bit steeply priced. The location is very good. Just step out, and there are a huge number of restaurants just opposite. Offering a wide variety of cusines. I chose to eat Chinese on all the three evenings I was there. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

This April following an official tour at JinJiang I brought my family with me. Our Chinese friend gave booking to this nice spacious hotel for us. We did really enjoy our stay hete. Foods are very much ok with variety of dishes ranging from Chinese, Japanese, Italaian, Indian & Continental. Hotel staffs are very cordial. Our breakfast menue offers huge variety. The location & spacious room made our staying very comfortable.

Not bad at all but seems to have been around for some time now. Rooms are quite spacious and beds are softer than most Chinese hotels. Breakfast was alright even if they focus in Chinese food of course. Good value for money.
