The vicinity is nice and clean.The furniture is old n faded n the toilets are fairly maintained.The corridors are poorly lit.However the front desk ppl are very helpful.The breakfast is nothing to shout about.

Stayed here two nights during our visit here as part of a tour group. Hotel is conveniently located with a row of shops selling tea and local delicacies along a quiet avenue with a small park in the vicinity where the local folks have their nightly tai chi and dancing. Rooms are with a balcony. Bathroom has bathroom sink, bowl and bath tubs of quality American Standard. There is coffee/tea making facilities, a fridge and hair dryer which is broken. Lighting is very dim and inadequate. The light above the bar table has been blown and no replacement was forthcoming. To make matters worse, the air-conditioning was not functioning. After numerous attempts to get the hotel to start the air-conditioning system, they finally agreed to start it at 7 pm that evening. The next day in better light, we could see the real condition of the room. It was dusty and full of hair. Obviously house keeping hasn't been around for awhile as occupancy must have been low. Upon our return that evening, we were relieved to see that the room had been cleaned and also that it was cool with the air-conditioning on. Breakfast here was basically Chinese but we did not mind as it was fresh and choices were wide. The hotel has seen better days and renovations are badly needed. There is a pool which is green and algae covered. Corridors are dark and badly lit. Carpets must be alive with dirt and grime and whatever else through the years. This was the worse hotel we stayed in during our tour of this region. Will never return!

stayed there for 3 nights as group tour member. room spacious with basic facilities e.g. kettle, hair blower and toiletries provided. (hair blower at my room was broken). Clean towel replaced everyday. Tub, toilet bowl and basin were 'American Standard' and should be a big investment at the opening. Seems no renovation over 20 years, stains on wall and dirt on shower curtain. Window curtain was torn and worn. Black filth lining on the vents of the air-conditioner. No refrigerator at room. free wifi at lobby and room. Make sure to press the wifi socket tight otherwise you won't have wifi like me for 2 nights. Silly to believe the hotel's website and bring along swimming suite, - their swimming pool was closed and was extremely dirty. Night club was closed and there was only a massage parlour left. Free Chinese style breakfast provided and especially good for vegetarians. Only non-veg. food was boiled tea eggs. Still fine if you need something to feed you in the morning. Service were terrible: i) requested to replace light bulb at bar table but the service woman said that most of these bulbs were out of order in other room and they were short of the bulbs supply! Of course, she left our room without replacing it. 2) requested for cups after the waitress put down the tea pot, she said,"you can use your bowl for tea!' On another occasion, I have bought a large bottle of juice and requested for some cups, the other waitress opened the cupboard and gave me as many cups as I want. Don't go there if you have a choice!
