Good View Sangem

I stayed here for one night during a business trip. The room I was assigned was probably meant to be a good room since it was big with an unusable sauna in the bathroom (the sauna was unusable due to safety reason). The room was not very clean, the gymn is located within the indoor swimming pool and is humid as hell, the equipment is old and poor maintained with two cycling equipment not functioning, restaurant is average... It seems that this 5 star hotel is falling apart with poor maintenance and doesn’t deserve the 5 star....I’ll never be back...

South China hotels can really struggle with dampness and this property is no different. While the service and staff are friendly, the price very competitive and the rooms quite large, I really had a hard time with how damp and musty it was. The showers are powerful and the hot water plentiful. Air conditioning made it cool but not dry in my room. Wifi is pretty good. Meeting facilities were spacious as well.

My customer arranged us to stay at this hotel and it was a very enjoyable stay and we stay there twice within 2 weeks. The scenery was fantastic and the room was great. The food was also very good. The service was very decent. My only complaint was that glass slider door in the bathroom was usually dirty. I complained to housekeeping and they did their best to the situation but that was a bad design and it cost a lot of effort to clean the glass. I am a bit of a clean freak and it was a bit annoying.
