Jinjiang Inn Style Shenzhen Futian Exihibition Center Fumin Metro Station

Was in town for a conference and did not feel like spending a lot of money. Anyone who knows China should know Jinjiang, it is pleasant enough, but nothing special. It is not a lot better than something like a Motel 6 in the west. You get what you pay for. What makes this Jinjiang Inn decent enough is that it is right by a subway stop and it is out of the way of the rest of the city, so one can have a bit of peace.

Excellent stopover hotel it's located right above the FUMIN Metro "G" entrance/exit. Ideal for Traveling across Futian Border (1 stop), Shenzhen North Railway Station (20mins) and Shenzhen Airport all of which are within easy reach via the Metro Red Line 4. Simple rooms. Very clean. Good price. Friendly front desk staff. They even found/changed bank notes for ¥1 coins for the metro tickets for me. Good restaurants nearby even a KFC opposite.

It's just good enough. Very close proximity to the subway station, but right next to heavy roadworks. Was quite noisy, especially early morning. Bathroom had a real sewerage smell about it. Bed was ok comfort wise, but didn't feel overly clean. The TV had one English channel, which was pearl TV from Hong Kong, so at least I had something to watch. The staff don't speak any English, but this isn't a problem for me. I don't think I would stay there again unless I was struggling for money. I guess if you have to stay somewhere cheap, this place isn't the worst. The room was very small though, so keep that in mind.
