Calvin Hotel Guangzhou

Our connecting flight with China Southern Air from Guangzhou to Brisbane was cancelled which is another story, checking in to hotel was challenging as no English is spoken after using a iPhone translator we managed to get a room The room was a little dated but the bed was comfy and the shower was hot, a very Chinese breakfast was provided which was good Under the circumstances we were thankful to have somewhere to sleep after 36hrs of travelling and Calvin Hotel made it bearable

Although the room looks old , but i like it alot If i not wrong the internet in china was terrible slow Without FACEBOOK , you cant do anything much in china I find the hotel was quite okay for me , nearby have so called 7-11, so whatever i need . I can get it there So i think i very convient for me

I booked this hotel as it is close to Baiyun convention centre where my husband had to attend a conference.The hotel corridors smell of so much that it is nauseating.The breakfast had very little choice.Though they had given the wifi password for the rooms but it was hardly working.Room had PC which was in chinese. We requested them to call a taxi for airport drop but they refused and guide us to go out and stop the one on road. I will not recommend this hotel.
