Incredible experience at the hotel. It is ideally located. The room was very clean. We enjoyed tea time, dinner at the traditional Chinese restaurant, and breakfast at the buffet. The offer is very comprehensive. The hotel also has a pool and a gym!

I’ve stayed at Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Centre every time I visit Guangzhou, and it truly feels like my home away from home. Each stay has been consistently pleasant and comfortable. During my most recent visit, I was assigned room 5312, and once again, everything met my expectations. The location in Yuexiu District is one of the reasons I keep coming back. It’s incredibly convenient — within walking distance of metro stations, restaurants, and shopping areas — which makes getting around the city very easy. What makes this hotel special for me is the people. Chris Lu and his team are always professional, welcoming, and attentive. The check-in and check-out process is smooth every time. Alan and the concierge staff are especially helpful, always ready to provide directions or local tips with patience and a friendly attitude. The breakfast buffet on the fifth floor is always something I look forward to. There’s an excellent selection of both Western and Chinese dishes, and everything is fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Gerry Li and the team are warm, attentive, and welcoming, making the start of each day especially pleasant. Although I didn’t have the chance to use the gym or swimming pool during this stay, the facilities appear clean, modern, and well maintained. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. I had requested a firm bed, and it was perfect for me. The blackout curtains ensured a restful night’s sleep, and the modern bathroom, with strong water pressure and quality toiletries, added to the overall comfort. Overall, this hotel continues to exceed my expectations. It offers not just comfort and convenience, but also a sense of familiarity and genuine hospitality. I will definitely continue staying here whenever I return to Guangzhou.

The front office staff especially Mike, Jay and Manager Kadri was extremely professional, friendly, and attentive, always ready to help and were very accommodating to my simple requests swiftly. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, and the service exceeded my expectations. There is a mall with a supermarket opposite the hotel and also The friendship Store (central city East) is just within walking distance. Beijing Street is about 2KM away and although strategically situated between two MRT stations, which made commuting around the city very convenient, I took DD instead. The breakfast spread was generous with vast selection of food and included options suitable for those observing halal preferences. Hailey was able not only to remember my name but also my room number on the second day when I went for breakfast. My spacious well-designed room on the 40th floor had a very nice panoramic view and I loved the squarish bathtub. They even provided the bath salt! The hotel internet is incredibly fast, which is not common in most hotels in China, even 5-star hotels. The hotel masterfully combines comfort, convenience, and inclusivity, resulting in a standout experience. I’d gladly return and confidently recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
