Guangzhou Masia Hotel

Been there recently. Had a very bad experience. Let me summarize in bullet points:- 1) The hotel is far away from city center. There is no subway nearby. You need to take a taxi or bus to travel to the nearest subway 2) Vast difference between the pictures in their website and in reality. 3) Chinese buffet although they mentioned Malaysian style dishes in their website. 4) Nobody in the hotel understands English 5) very dirty and there was always a bad smell whenever I entered the room 6) I did not see any foreigners in that hotel. 99% of their guests are Chinese 7) The AC in my room never worked properly 8) There was a tea cattle with empty milk and sugar jar in my room 9) The bed is very uncomfortable as I found something hard inside the foam. I m not sure what it was 10) You can easily hear noise coming from lobby or other rooms

This hotel is so good And that hotel manager lione is so helpful And they know English Canton fair free bus is daily start hear Bus is every day pickup hotel and drop hotel And 100 meters in bus stop So bus fare is so good Hotel staff is so friendly Lione is the best man in this hotel and they also help anything

Location is far away from town and situated in a industrial zone. Nearest subway station is approx 4km away and the subway to town takes approx 45 min. Taxi to town would cost approx 80RMB / way. Rooms were dirty and relatively poor maintained. Smell of smoke although a clear no smoking sign :) Bed were as hard as sleeping on re-bar (I could feel the mattress springs) Good : Wifi available (Although surfing is next to none/error & slow). Lots of Hotel available in Guangzhou, highly suggest to check the location (as GZ is vast city) and prices (Fierce competition for Hotel)
