Guangzhou Yuebei Hotel

1. you be greeted with a smell beyond repulsive in the lobby due to the disgusting restaurant on the 2nd floor. 2. the security guard will be fast asleep by the door past 10pm. 3. you will dislocate your shoulder as you enter the smoke-filled elevator since there are no sensors in the doors. 4. as you enter the room, you'll be greeted with the smell of years of cigarettes & mold. 5. they will run out of toiletries that is a fact! 6. you must request a safe to be brought to your room. *** i literally counted down every hour until i left since i had to stay 4 days/ 3 nights in this horrific hotel. 2 nights i had to wear a surgical mask to breath in bed while using an asthma respirator to breath. if breathing clean air isn't a priority for you, then stay... if you bring your children here, it will be a traumatic life experience... this is a very dark disturbing building where illegal business trade happens & other highly illegal thing may be happening.

Positive: Location was very good. Many cafes and restaurants neighborhood. Walking distance to two metro stations. Negative: The rooms were small. Too much noise in the room so I had to change the room. The air condition controller was in chinese. The staff at the reception was so slow. You have to wait very long even if you ask for a small thing. mostt of the staff does not speak English. No shower door in the bathroom. No TV channels other than Chinese and Arabic.

Well located, shopping, metro, dinner, starbucks 5 minutes walk. Could be better if front desk can speak little more English, best was after 9 days working they helped with late check out, clean rooms.
