pro: Location Con: Staff attitude so terrible even had a big argument with hotel guests at the front desk. room: toilet bowl stuck. safe cant function, TV wont work and electric plug also not working. bed hard as wood and very smelly. Wifi slow.. I wont return this property anymore.

This is not a nice place to stay! The location is surrounded by KTV places with all the attendant night life and people. The beds are hard as rocks. Hardest beds in the world - sleeping on the carpet will be softer! The pillow is weird - seems to be made of bricks. The sheets are torn, yet clean. The towels are completely worn out, even though clean. Lots of hot water in the morning. Bring your own slippers - unless you have half size feet. Free condoms beside the bed (well, I couldn't find a price list anywhere). Nightvlub on the 4th floor, sauna/massage on the 5th - looks very dubious, but quite in character with the surrounding district. Ironically the wifi is fast and you can connect to VPN with no problem!

I booked this hotel as it was very near to the Canton fair and the hotel provided the free shuttle bus from hotel to the fair and back to hotel in the afternoon. There is a McDonald's restaurant at the back of the hotel. Also its easy to get the taxi to go to airport. Only thing i not liked at all was the mattress as it is so hard, can't sleep well after days of work. staff are friendly as they also help me to arrange the taxi back to airport.
