Imperial Hotel

the structure is well presented in the semi-central area, conveniently connected with metro stop just outside the hotel. We arrived in Canton coming from Shenzhen by train and by taxi it took us almost an hour because of the traffic, by subway in half an hour you can easily reach the subway stations south or north. clean and elegant hotel with a good and hearty breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. I assume that the renovation of the hotel dates back to about ten years ago, but everything is still in excellent condition today. under the hotel many restaurants and fast food. The property is an equivalent of a 4 star Western, the price for us Westerners is decidedly low.

The hotel appears to be in a good location, in the Panyu District of Guangzhou. (Note that it is an hour from the center of the city.) The rooms were clean and the mattresses hard. The restaurant near the lobby serves a good breakfast. I was surprised to see both a sauna and an ashtray in my room. There is an ATM in the lobby, but we were unable to use it because it required facial recognition. There is a convenience store next door.

Stayed here for the Canton Fair , mainly because other larger hotels were overpriced. Very surprised that the hotel was high quality , bedrooms were comfy and spacious, breakfast and buffet dinner fine. The bill was less than £90 per night, amazing value . Staff were great, I'd recommend you definitely stipulate a non smoking room as I forgot on the first night and the room stank of smoke , switched to a non smoking room and it was fine.
