JIN HENG HUA YAN Hotel

The hotel is very near to all shopping area. The staff a the counter are friendly even they are having problem with speaking in english , they try to communicate and understand your needs. There is a good Chinese restaurant in this building but they don’t have room service, maybe because of language barrier. Outside are different choices of restaurants,fast food and convenience store. Room is clean. Only it has no door mat outside the bathroom so when entering the room from the toilet, floor will always get wet and dirty and so messy. Price is a little bit higher and not value for the room but only for the location.

My friends recommended me this hotel for a short stay. The location of this hotel is very close to the metro and many restaurants nearby. The wifi worked pretty well. The bed was a little hard. This building is pretty old now and I guess for the price u pay its certainly worth it.

Excellent location, exit A from XiaoBei metro station - hotel right in front (less than 50m walk), 1 stop from Railway Station (clothes wholesale centres). Airport to Hotel via Metro about 45mins. Popular with Muslims & African Americans with restaurants. However, hotel is run-down (Beds are hard, asked for extra comforter to lay over but was not available. Standing Shower - shower screens w/out door, ended with wet floors, water pressure fluctuates.) At least the air-con works fine. Upgraded room (from 208 to 228CNY/night) because room facing. The more expensive rooms face the back of the hotel = quiet, the cheaper rooms face the main road = very noisy. Hotels in Guangzhou very different from Shenzhen and Shanghai. Most hotels are mixed commercial/hotel setting. Zhaoqing Hotel comes with restaurants, pharmacy, handphone shops on the ground floor, Chinese restaurant on the 2nd and 3rd. Office and shops on 4th and 5th, not sure what's on the 6th, but hotel rooms from 7th to 10th. Budget hotel, great location, convenient with Metro interchanges between the different lines but hard beds and not much of security.
