Panyu Miramar Hotel

I lived there several time, and the wifi is very slow, and unstable. The room is old, but clean. The Receptionist can help to arrange taxi. If you want to go to airport, can go by taxi or by bus. And if you want to go to airport by bus, need to take taxi from hotel to bus stop, about 10min.

I stayed there because that's the Company prefered hotel, the hotel is a traditional Chinese style hotel. Room was just ok, not fancy not bad, it was clean, somehow old. I didn't have the opportunity to eat at the restaurant, but there's a mini store where you can buy some snacks, so it's very convenient. my room had a view to the back side of the property which it isn't a pretty neighborhood. The area is not the best in Guangzhou but at least i can say it's safe. Many local stores, drugstores, small restaurants and a Hospital at a walking distance, If you want to walk a little more you'll find a 8 stories Mall which is barely half way occupied, some good restaurants can be found there.

We were originally looking for a triple room but the booking website that my husband used had no available triple room so we settled for a double room. When we arrived at the hotel, our booking was not received in the hotel yet (it was an urgent decision to stay for the night instead of driving back for 3 hrs), The front desk staff was so good that even they have not received the booking yet, we were accommodated and even offered us a triple room. The room was clean, with sufficient toiletries. The toilet was clean and very good supply of hot water. There is a guarded car park at the back of the hotel. There are a lot of restaurants around the area, this hotel is good enough for a quick one night stay.
