Royal Garden Hotel

Stayed here for three nights, four days. Cost about 130 Euros. Room was fine, spacious, with a comfortable bed, well aired, nice desk for my online work, and the toilet and shower were fine. Room was cleaned every day with water and clean towels always provided. Service good, friendly and attentive. Location was ok - central location although still a bit of a walk to the city sights. The hotel has a few restaurants on site - but unfortunately we didn't try any. Not the worst place to stay.....enjoyed my stay here.

The hotel room was specious but the furniture was old. The hotel needs renovation the location was also not great the lift was slow breakfast for vegetarian was sad they can improve upon that

We arrived with paid bookings to work in the morning of the 22nd and we were received with the overbooking information from the Hotel, tired and just wanting to sleep, we were sent to exchange us in the bathroom of the reception, after a lot, but much discussion, placed us in an old room, full of mold, iron masks on the carpet and still shared that left us deeply disturbed, after all we were in a group of 5 people and we have no relationship in any degree, no choice, we slept there and the next day placed us in the rooms contracted The hotel, in the very luxurious appearance, squeezes on service and structure, the rooms despite having a suitable size has a bathroom that more looks like a motel, open, with small sink, the shower water floods all the time, the cleaning is ineffective, they arrange the rooms and drop the open cans of soda. We found a cockroach. The manager Simon although very polite, does not account for the service, even after all the problems at check-in, I had to magnetize my key every day, because when going out to the coffee, it no longer worked in the room. I complained the first time and in the next 5 days of stay no longer complained. We chose the hotel for breakfast and the facility of transportation to the Canton Fair, this requirement was all very good, but I understand that for the amount we paid these problems should never have happened, it was very stressful. A good factor, which should be mentioned, is the care of the attendants regarding the taxis that want to charge exorbitant amounts, they helped us at this point.
