Sealy Hotel

Toilet is clean and ok. Reception peoples are crazy. Room tv and A/C are duplicate. TV picture quality very poor. A/c can't make the room cool. Room fair is high compare to its facilities. There is a Chinese club beside the hotel and noise comes all night to the single rooms.

The room is less than 10 square metres (as opposed to the 20 showed on their website) and the walls inside the room are dirty. It's very noisy until the small hours of the morning from the nearby KTV, which made it impossible to get a proper night's sleep. To make things worse, there was no hot water on the day I checked in (I had to wait till the next morning to take a hot shower), the internet is very slow, and the room has no proper window (the so-called window opens into the corridor). I've stayed in Guangzhou several times before and this was by far the worst value for money! Last month I've stayed in a better hotel and paid 148 yuan/night, but Sealy charged 219 yuan-for a pre-booked room-and it was far inferior to the one of 148! The only people I'd recommend this hotel to are my worst enemies.
