I'm from malaysia went to visit Guangzhou city. I did my hotel booking through Airasiago and already paid in full. Once we arrive to the hotel and show the booking no they say no room available and we was so upset how come we did the booking but thery can say that. We was wait so long to get another hotel from them till 3am infact we reach the hotel at 10pm . i like to inform all of you please confirm back with the hotel before depature. The staff over there don't understand english.

I have been in Guangzhou for the fair, and want a hotel not so far, so I choose this hotel. The hotel in in a big building, the entrance hall is at groud floor and the rest of the hotel ( the rooms) are in the 1st, 2nd and third floor. In the groud floor, near the entrance, there are some shops and offices. When I arrived, with my reservation, one of the staff took me to a clean, big room without windows. Immediately I asked for a windowed-room and they shift me to another room with a sunny window, with a little additionale fee. After that, all the services was quite good, the cleaning was more than acceptable, not all the staff speaks in english but someone do, and all the people were helpful and kind. The position of the hotel is not near the center, but walking around in the evening you can find shops and restaurants. It is good for reaching the fair, few minutes with the Taxi. Pro and con: Internet is slow, but in all my visit in China, in every location, i found really slow internet. Price is good, and if you want a place where sleep quietly and have a shower, it's ok.

I stayed at this hotel for the Canton Fair. It is very convinient for travelling to the fair by MRT which is a 7-8 min walk. There is a small 7-11 nearby. However it is somewhat distant from the main shopping/ tourist areas. I was assisted at the hotel by the manager Mr. David who speaks excellent english and was of immense help. Beware! The basic rooms do not have any windows.
