Vienna Classic Hotel Guangzhou Shaheding Metro Station

I booked this hotel for 13 nights, but I only stayed one night because the room was not livable. The photos and positive reviews did not match my experience at all, especially on the 4th floor. Check-in was difficult and unpleasant. The first staff member was rude and did not explain basic things like how to access the elevator or get to the room. After a long international travel day, this made the experience even more stressful. Once I entered the room, I was shocked. The room was old, poorly maintained, and filthy. There was a strong smell of smoke and mold. The bathroom felt unsanitary, with soap scum and dirty buildup on the shower glass, stains around the toilet, and damaged/rotting wood around the bathroom door and walls. The carpet and furniture also looked worn and dirty. The Wi-Fi connection was awful and unreliable. I did speak with another staff member later who was more accommodating, but the overall experience was unacceptable. I stayed only one night because I had no other choice after arriving in Guangzhou, but I checked out as soon as I could. This was my first hotel experience in China, and unfortunately it was horrible. I would not recommend this hotel unless the management seriously renovates, deep cleans the rooms, improves the service, and makes sure the actual rooms match the photos shown online. Great locations, near to Metro station- direct line to Beijing rd, etc, clothes wholesalers and foods. Reception was very friendly and patient and room was big to accommodate 3 in 1 room. Friends said will come here to stay again when in Guangzhou👍

I will stay here again! Polite reception which handle online booked customer in fast way. The room was clean with nice scenery view. Wholesales in walking distance + transit station. Recommend who is garment business traveller here.
