Zhanqian Road Huadu Garden Inn

Extremely difficult to find, cab drivers and locals didn't know. Finally found it by the address. Once you are there its convenient to some neighborhood venues including some decent restaurants and a street market. It is not convenient to the subway which is a cab ride away. Hotel was cleaner than many of the hotels we stayed at in China. Service was adequate although a little unfriendly. Wifi was "broken" the first night but after was ok most times but faded in and out. The shower drain backed up and showers had to be cut short because of it. The soap in the shower dispenser smelled foul and irritated the skin. Bedding was typically Chinese, hard and with one cover but clean.The window overlooks an old apartment building and has bars on the windows. Tap water in this city was yellow and a little suspect.
