Greentree Inn Guangdong Dongguan Houjie Business Hotel

The hotel is far from what's in the pictures. Rooms are destroyed- it looks like they had a bad flood running down the walls. The TV always had problems with the volume. And when you call to front desk to report the problem, the staff doesn't speak English at all and they just hang up on you without even saying I am sorry... Breakfast- good place if you want to loose wait- fried dumplings, noodles and fried rice are cold, including the rest of the food that normally should be served hot. There is no tea in the breakfast room. Shower has no power and no hot water, just barely warm. So as I mentioned before- the front desk staff is terribly impolite and not nice, however, staff in the breakfast room and cleaning staff are the nicest people in the hotel. Trip to China is not pleasant at all, and if you get into bad hotel, your trip is completely screwed! Be careful and shop around. I do NOT suggest this place at all!

From outside it doesn't look that good. There were some goods and bads. Good thing was the room was bigger and nicer than I thought. Couple of bad things were location which wasn't convenient especially I went there for Canton fair. It was about an hour drive from the fair but guess all the hotels in Guangzhou were fully booked. Breakfast should improve immediately.
