Excellent stays - I transited Shenzhen twice this week to and from Singapore and stayed at the Baolilai International both times for one night each time with my family (2 adults, 2 children). Both stays were exceptional. £7 max taxi fare from the airport (unsung Ali Pay) and a 20 min journey. Clean and spacious rooms fully equipped to 5* standard and more, excellent breakfast and most importantly wonderful staff - especially the front of house manager on Saturday 24th May (I didn’t get her name) but she was so kind and welcoming and an absolute credit to the hotel. She was great with the kids and we were all made to feel very welcome. We will be sure to stay here again when we are next passing. Thank you for such an enjoyable two stays.

The hotel has its strengths. In particular, you can appreciate the location near the airport and its accessibility. It is neither personal nor particularly comfortable. The usual "small details" of a 5-star hotel are sought in vain. There is little going on in the bar of the hall, nobody helps with the luggage. But it is clean, polite and everything in place. The decor may be a bit out of fashion, but every little hint is implemented immediately. This is professional and worthwhile for a professional stay. The food in the big restaurant is good. The spa is not what you would expect as a European, but that is an expendable point. Especially in terms of value for money really a recommendation. And in the surroundings you can reach within walking distance everything that makes your stay pleasant.

The rooms appear to have been renovated. Spacious, clean, well-equipped and carefully cleaned every day. Here you can finally relax and unwind. The breakfast buffet has been offering the same food for what feels like 20 years, but the quality is not outstanding. An update would be good. After such a long time, it would also be good for an international hotel to have people who speak English at the most important stations. Regardless of this, the staff in the hotel are friendly and courteous almost everywhere. You can swim your laps in peace in the spacious swimming pool and work out in the gym. The equipment here could do with being replaced. It is literally starting to rust. Otherwise, a recommendable hotel.
