The rooms are spacious but lack in cleanliness and also the attitude of the staff towards the guests is poor. The staff at the reception and the lobby do not know english and is difficult to communicate your needs to them. The hotel offers free WIFI but only if you have a chinese SIM card, not at all suitable for international travellers. The food at the hotel is all chinese and becomes a challenge to make the staff understand your choice of food. However, the location of the hotel is very good and all major international food chains are at walking distance form the hotel.

Hotel room was average sized and beds were comfortable. However, I was very much put off by the attitude of the counter staff (lady working the evening shift) who blatantly refused to assist us in calling a taxi, even though I offered to use my mobile. Her reason was that she doesn't know what our requirements were and refused to help us in calling our taxi. We had to resort to calling for the taxi ourselves after googling the calling code etc. And even then, the call centre couldn't accept my booking as my mobile was an international number and requested for our hotel to call instead. Thankfully the lady working the morning shift helped, albeit quite reluctantly. It was my first experience with such unhelpful hotel reception. I'm afraid I will not return.

The bed had bed bugs...need I say more? ...Ok I will, the hotel claims to be 4 star but it is most certainly not. The rooms are a bit dirty, the walls and ceilings need renovation and for god's sake there are bed bugs!!!!!!! None of the personnel with the exception of the manager speak English. I mean like NOTHING AT ALL, they couldn't even understand the work taxi. I don't expect people to speak English in China but hey, when they claim its a 4 star hotel and display an English website then I guess they should be able to communicate with their foreign customers!
