The Interlaken OCT Hotel

I went on a day trip to Shenzhen this New Year. Walking forward from the Chaxi Valley parking lot, you will pass by the Interlaken Hotel. There are New Year’s Eve stalls at the entrance. You can directly enter the hotel and you will see an artificial lake. There is a rainbow 🌈 floating channel in the middle of the lake, but it is only available to guests. Attraction 1: You can keep taking photos along the lake. The calm mouth of the lake reflects the European huts. The blue sky and few clouds give it the effect of a lake mirror. Those who are brave can go to a terrace by the lake to take pictures, getting closer to the lake. Attraction 2: On the stairs of the hotel, there are several beautiful European-style buildings, but they are a bit dilapidated, but you can also take pictures on the stairs. Attraction 3: There is a check-in swing at the end. As long as you are bold enough to swing out, you will be able to take photos of the swing on the lake, which is great!

We enjoyed our stay and meals at the hotel. Our room was spacious and amenities in line with my expectations. Not many westerners, and maybe that is why I view it as catering mainly to locals. It is especially convenient for getting around the theme park.

I'm glad I chose the room at the front and not in the park. The rooms in the park look like wooden huts that are not well maintained. Our room is huge and the bathroom is big but outdated. It took us almost 10 min to get there because the hotel is also big. The breakfast was okay but the restaurant inside is really good. Airco however was not working well.
