Venice Shenzhen

We recently stayed at Hotel Indigo Shenzhen after being longtime guests of InterContinental Shenzhen — we'd heard they share the same ownership and wanted to try something different for a change. Special thanks to Helen and the front desk team for arranging our room upgrade and early check-in — it made checking in so much smoother and really set a warm tone for the rest of the stay. The room itself was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Location-wise, it's hard to beat — about a 5-minute walk to the train station, with a shopping mall right nearby offering plenty of restaurant choices and a supermarket for essentials. The swimming pool area was a highlight, and the room design was lovely too. One small note: some facilities, like the kids' area, are only open on weekends, so it's worth planning your visit around that if you're traveling with children. That said, there were pool floaties available to borrow, which was a nice touch for a bit of extra fun. Breakfast was decent, and I really appreciated the restaurant's design — the open-air section was a wonderful touch, making the whole dining experience feel fresh and relaxing. Overall, a solid stay with great service and an unbeatable location. We'd happily come back!
