Crowne Plaza Zhanjiang

Went for an overnight stay after a long day, we tried to check-in. Firstly no one at the reception to serve. 1 lady was over a call and didn't bother to help to get us checked in fast. They ask for huge deposit almost twice your room rent for miscellaneous deposits, which is not right. It's fairly an old hotel though close to the Train station. It had all a Crown Plaza hotel should have, However, need a renovation as the city is expanding and more business is coming. Lianjiang is a finance hub and the closest Internation hotel is in Zhanjiang. Hence, there are more people expected to come every month.

After being in many good hotels now in China where I travel for work, I expected a better Hotel for the Crown Plaza. The hotel is a bit old and has peculiar arrangement, not my taste anyway. The room was ok but again nothing special. So I was a bit disappointed with the hotel, but no major problems really

got here for business trip, spend 2 days and enjoy the meeting. Good breakfast, mostly chinese food (especially dumplings, noodles and porridge). And have very spacious room, clean and also they have bath tube.
