Catic Hotel Zhuhai

I stayed at this hotel for one night as part of a business trip to Zhuhai to attend a trade fair. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but for a short stay it works well. The service was very good — staff at reception and around the hotel were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was large and well designed, with the shower and toilet in separate areas, plus a dressing area and sink space, which made it feel very practical. Breakfast is mainly Chinese. If you’re already used to living in China, it’s fine, but travelers looking for a more international breakfast might want to consider this. Overall, it’s an older hotel, nothing fancy, but comfortable and reliable for a one-night or business stay.

I had a document mailed to this hotel and it had arrived a day before I checked in. The staff was attentive enough to get it and hand it to me, on the day that I arrived. The hotel lobby was clean and spacious. My room was clean and had all of the amenities including free water bottle, each day that I stayed. I only have two minor issues. First, there was some constructions going on and my room was at the annex building behind the main one. So, it takes a while (walking) and across a long corridor to get to my room. Second, the hotel restaurant doesn't open full time. So, I had to walk across 7 -10 blocks to get to the nearest restaurants.
