Dihao Holiday

It's a old hotel. Carpet edges and corners have some flaws as there is a certain year. The wallpapers are very old. The location also not good. It was far away from shopping malls or attractions. Breakfast provided was miserable in quantity and quality - small quantity,limited choice,staff slow in topping up. Bread without butter or jam,tasteless fried noodles and the food was cold. Spacious room adequately furnished with Victorian decor but the bed was extremely hard.

This hotel was arranged by ASA Holidays, stayed for 2 nights in dec,there's no heater in the room, really not suitable to stay there during winter, air con was off and we can still feel the coldness. Their rooms were spacious but bed was extremely hard and headboard was dusty too. Toilets with too many racks at both sides of basin which I felt really unnecessary, but none in the shower area...so where to place our toiletries??? most importantly there is no shower door, have to take shower "very carefully", so that outside floor wont get wet, dangerous for elderly and children. Breakfast was arranged too, lousy bf and bread without butter or jam, only their coffee is nice, go elsewhere for bf if possible.

The room is adequately furnished and I like the Victorian style decor but the breakfast was a real spoiler. Not only was the quantity miserably small but there were hardly any choices. Most of the trays were empty by 7.30 am and the staff were slow in topping up. The fried noodles were so tasteless that I wondered if they just tossed it in the wok with a dash of oil. There were some steamed buns but these were warm on the outside and still cold on the inside! Yes! And we have to purchase the drinking water. There were no complimentary drinking water.
