Golden Fortune Hotel Zhuhai

For my first trip in China, was not very pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, but only one person speak other language than Chinese, more precisely, English. Very difficult to comunicate. ATTENTION!!! I had to make a deposit on my arryval and I remained without 500 euros, money that have never been returned. NOT recommend!!!

Spend 2 days at the Golden Fortune Hotel. Easy to get to if coming from the Gongbei border, walk out of border and head towards the street, turn right and left at the first set of traffic lights hotel is located on the opposite side of the road. I had a massive room facing the Gongbei border, room was dated but the hotel were in the process of changing all the wallpaper perhaps they are undertaking renovations. On the advice of other travelers I did not use any of their toiletries. My room was not serviced but I think that you have to let them know that you want your room serviced. I found all goods at the underground mall expensive and owners unwilling to bargain. The prices at the shops outside the border crossing much cheaper. For price paid I would stay again

the hotel is very near and walking distance to gongbei border. also very near to the night market. all standard fasilicities, except no cafe or restaurant at hotel. bus stop also opposite the hotel. the reception cant speak english at all..
