The Greenery Hotel Zhuhai

The hotel is clean, the room is spacious - almost like a 4/5 star hotel! There are eateries around the hotel and it is also within walking distance (about 20 mins) to the seaside where you can catch a glimpse of the statue of the Fishergirl. The manager at this hotel also directed us to the Zhuhai Hong Kong border on the last day, making sure we do not catch a cab, instead to take the public bus (which is RMB1 per trip) all the way to the border. Excellent customer service!

This was back in 2008 late Sep.-middle Oct. I needed to just get away. Denmark, small town blues.. China was fresh and new and OL Beijin over. I have been lucky and traveled all over the word This time I wanted too do it alone. What a trip the best ever. I hired a translater and guide 4-5 times I highly recommend this. 2-300 RMB Gets you a University student local and fluent in English No time limits all day and until lights out. Trust me their wieght worth in gold. The Chinnese people open friendly positive great humor. I truely felt wellcome. But no Engllish, My voice couldn't do the changes in tone at all. Beer and the number six that was it ha ha. I was served 6 beers at a time Truth!! I tried it all showing 1 finger , writing it down the bar tender countering with a question ?? in Chinnese So I when on my own just used Danish noded yes to everthing I had a blast. Everybody wanted to be my friend The 6 beer blond guy ha ha Fun times, 28 degrees celcius 24/7 100% humitity keep them comming. The locals though asian lever could not procces the alcohol. I was famous. I am for sure going back bringing a few friends from my hometown.

Be careful of the taxi cab drivers. I had scoped a hotel and the taxi cab driver told me this was much better for 300 rmb. When I paid the 300 and got into the room with wifi and check rates I could have got it for 180..... For 180 its clean and nice. Near the park and ocean. McDonalds is across the steet. Oh my TV didnt work but they did come fix it.
