Guilin City Garden Hotel

We stayed here just one night on our way to the rice terraces. Hotel is in an excellent location, very short walk to the bus and train stations making it an excellent choice for somebody traveling through. Room was nothing outstanding, but spacious and clean. Staff were very helpful and at least one girl spoke good English. Downsides? Although practical, the location is on a very busy main road and not in the more attractive and quieter central area. The windows are also not double-glazed, so the traffic noise is constant. If you're actually spending some time in Guilin you might want to find somewhere quieter. All-in-all, a good hotel with no major issues to report.

We needed a hotel for one night in Guilin as we were flying in late and wouldn't be able to get to Yangshuo, our ultimate destination until the next morning. This hotel was ideal and great value. It is 5 minutes from the bus station, is clean, and has comfortable and decently furnished rooms. I don't know how convenient it would be if you were wanting to visit Guilin's tourist sites, as we didn't do that, but if on transit elsewhere, it was great. It is not a luxury hotel, but for the price I would recommend it. We didn't have breakfast there so I cannot comment on that.

the bath room is big, room is ok but with some noise from the ceiling, perhaps is because of the air cond, breakfast is not good, food selection is very few and not enough table to serve. Overall everything is on average.
