Yangshuo Magnolia Hotel

English speaking friendly staff, nice and clean room. the backside of the West street... but still had a good sleep. Very helpful with planning day trips. beside the Hotel is a Renting Service for Bikes, E-Roller, and Motorbikes...as well super helpful. would stay definitely again if in Yangshou. THANK YOU!

We stayed two nights, one at the start of a multi day bicycle trip in the region and the other night at the end. Both were disappointing - noise and light from the street into the wee hours as well as noisy guests in the echo prone hallway. Bring earplugs and a sleep mask and you will be fine. On the plus side the place was spotless and the staff was helpful.

I visited the Magnolia hotel with a friend and found it to be very comfortable. It is very close to West Street which makes it extremely handy for shopping and wandering around the main tourist street. It can be noisy in the early evening, but we found it had quietened down by 11ish. Apparently you can get ear plugs from the hotel staff if you need them. The best feature of the hotel is the staff. They are friendly, extremely helpful and most can speak English. They were able give us advice, organize tickets for events and pick ups outside the hotel. One staff member Jenny even offered to come on a bike ride with us, when we mentioned that we were unsure about where to cycle. We took her up on her offer and had a wonderful personal tour through the town, into the country and along the river -definitely the best part of our trip to Yangshuo.
