The rooms are pretty and comfortable. We were first assigned a room that had a heavy smoke smell and requested a change which was promptly processed. Hotel is in a convenient area of the city. Although the hotel links well with other parts of the city, the underpass is rather complicated, with little signage.

The Sheraton Guiyang is a fabulous hotel. It has a great location, gorgeous rooms, and fantastic food. The room was very well decorated, clean, and had a nice view. Housekeeping did a great job as well. The executive lounge was wonderful. The executive chef there is one of the best chef's in China. There was a great variety of food that all was quite tasty. The hotel grounds were very nice and with a well kept pool that we used daily. The hotel management team led by Mr. Ling went above and beyond to take superb care of us. From the treats, decorations, cake, and traditional Chinese outfit shared, the team made us feel special with all their efforts. I highly encourage anyone visiting Guiyang to stay at the Sheraton as you will be quite pleased with this fabulous property!

Out of date facilities and furnishment won't disappoint me. But terrible management would. In house dining is horrible. They deliberately accommodate you in dining hall and put you in the middle of a wedding ceremony, effectively out table is surrounded by the event tables, suffering noise and chaos. Regardless of complaint, f&b manager just pretend nothing happened and ignore all requests. Claiming that escalation will be made towards ambassador hotline, i seriously asked the hotel management to be involved. Again the request is ignored. Translation: 可怕的餐饮服务，管理层渎职严重有包房不给包房，故意让顾客坐到婚礼现场大厅中忍受噪音和嘈杂。无论如何投诉都不作为
