Definitely not a 5 star hotel. No English (at all spoken). Breakfast is terrible.TERRIBLE. No sausages or bacon, no cheese, no milk, yogurt, scrambled eggs...which is basic everywhere. Said to be nearby a lot of restaurants, false, you have to go downtown and even there there are no many options. Try something else...don’t save in hotel, since you’ll spend it buying something to have a normal breakfast and then in taxis to/from downtown

I am a Silver member and love this hotel chain. We compared price of Hilton and Marriott, picked Marriott based on cheaper price for two rooms. The hotel itself is great. Room is American sized and very spacious with King bed, huge shower/bath with soaking tub, desk, sofa, two chairs inside with table, and huge balcony with 2 patio chairs, small drink table, and air drying rack for beach stuff. I booked a high room King suite for my wife and I, and Queen suite (for our parents). I had asked for joining rooms so when I got a room a few doors down the hall I was a little disappointed. My parents are elderly so it would be nice to check up on them without leaving room. Some hotel rooms have inside doors and I’m sure this one does, but the English conversation with reservations seems to got things messed up. As for crowds it is normal for this time of year. I would recommend Call ahead if you are looking to spend time at pool like we were. The High pool is closed for maintenance when we were here. That means all the kids and adults use the lower pool so makes it more crowded. Get to pool early if you want a lounge chair. They go fast when families of four and five snatch them all. Cost of beer is high so buy it before you come. There is no glass allowed at pool so I use a Starbucks mug and refill in room. There are many bars and food poolside and not many lines since very pricy. We got the breakfast with room so it helps skip lunch all together and snack and drink until a big dinner. Many food restaurants within resort or nearby. Small food market is also on corner of property if you need more beer, snacks, sunscreen, etc.

We decided to stay here for a night since it is very near the airport. From airport to hotel is about 15mins (30-40rmb). Hotel is ok. It is old and service was so so. Breakfast is very limited without western food selection. Overall, will just recommend this hotel if you are arriving very late or has an early flight.
