Horizon Resort & Spa Yalong Bay

Back at the hotel after 17 years. Were with her husband in 2007 and returned to 2026 with 2 children already. The hotel has changed to be child-friendly. Lots of locations, playgrounds and attractions for kids. Paid and free. Manicured lawns, swings, hammocks. But they're doing kids' activities with reindeer on gpzones! And that leaves ha... but the deer on the lawns! How is that even? Walking barefoot on the grass... and surprise! That's the biggest downside to the hotel for me. Breakfasts are held in 4 restaurants (maps are circled in the photo). 2 in each building. In 2 buildings one restaurant is purely Chinese, there are many fruits and dimsams, but the food is very specific. The rest of the restaurants are Europeanized, there are many things to choose for breakfast, except omelets are not prepared. We dined in the hotel restaurant in the first building, there's still a chef's figurine at the entrance, and breakfasts are held there. On the menu are pastas, pizzas, fish, salads, soups. You can choose, but the menu is small. Prices are normal. Lunch for 4 people 350 yuan on average. Dinner was had across the street from the hotel, at the Yalunwan restaurant also 300-400 yuan for 4. We had a family room, selecteed flat, very nice. I haven't seen this clean in a while, with a new renovation! The minibar is free, there is a washing machine, powder, and an electric dryer in the bathroom. The pools are old and there are few sunbeds. It's impossible to find a place by the pool. Instead of umbrellas, mangrove trees, that's plus - shades are bigger, and minus - they're low, under them stuffy. The sunbeds are close together, no privacy. Few showers by the sea, lines. The sea was full of waves, you can swim. Marine lifeguards are being unceremonious, kicked out after 7 p.m. You can only swim in a fenced area, and it's small. At the hotel you can play in the machines, buy ice cream, have shops, have saps, maze obstacle course, fire show really enjoyed. At the seaside there is entertainment to drive. There's a gym, not very clean, but there is. The kids club is great, they give socks. There is a foot massage in the first body, standing 135 yuan, starting from the back, head, a little face, hands, really liked it! The staff at the hotel are kind, friendly, always available to help. The hotel is large and has a place to walk both inside and outside the building.

We had a wonderful holiday at Horizon Resort Sanya and were very pleased. Lived in the second building, and it really makes a strong impression: a very beautiful and spacious lobby, lots of air and light, its greenhouse and fountain – everything looks large and atmospheric. The hotel has a large, well-kept area, and that's one of its main advantages. For children, there is just a great choice of entertainment: slides almost like a water park, outdoor pools, lots of places where you can have fun as a family. For a family vacation, this is indeed a very successful option. Separately, I want to celebrate nutrition. The food was good and varied, with a choice of several restaurants, so nothing bored during the rest. Rooms were cleaned daily and everything was regularly replenished, including the minibar. The room had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We also really liked the location of the hotel: nearby tourist pedestrian area, restaurants, cafes and shops, so it is convenient to relax in the hotel itself and go for a walk. The staff are generally very friendly and always try to help. Yes, we had a communication issue because we don't know Chinese, but with the help of an online translator, everything was handled normally. A special thanks goes to the staff at the front desk, where foreign staff with very good English work. They were particularly comfortable to communicate with and explain exactly what we needed, and this made any household matters very easy during the holiday. And, of course, special thanks to an employee named SALVI. I had an unusual request, and I wanted to order flowers for my wife for her birthday. Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide such a service, but we were offered to deliver a cake with candles, for which we too are very grateful. But it was SALVI who helped me organize the flowers: in just half an hour he helped me choose the right bouquet and personally brought it to me. It was very nice, very human and really memorable. For that, he has a special huge thanks — he is now a great friend of mine from Bangladesh. On the whole, the rest was wonderful. Horizon Resort Sanya left a very warm experience and we would love to come back here again.
