**Disturbing pics warning** The worst experience staying at Hyatt hotels to date. A traumatizing s**t show. No way this resort is sending their review emails to me so here comes your unsolicited truthbomb. Front desk 2/5: basics all check; welcomed as Hyatt elite, asked for floor preferences, walked me to the elevator. However when I asked to have the folio, invoice and receipt sent to my email, the staff directed me to add the WeChat account of their guest manager and ask in the chat. Voiced my preference to have it added as a note and handled on their end, but no, the guy insisted it would be easier (for whom?) if I do it WeChat. Let’s just say it’s a nice way to set the impression. The room 0/5: a nondescript 5-star resort guest room you’d expect. Nothing fancy. Comes in with complimentary local fruit (wax apple) on the table. Did not try the fruit until after dining out (a genius move in hindsight else I might skip dinner outright). Came back from dinner and decided to pick up the wax apple and have a bite, AND OH HOW I REGRET IT TILL TODAY. The moment I bite into the fruit something felt off, it was extra mushy instead the crispy texture I had expected. The color of the flesh was light brown (what you’d see from oxidizing apples) and when I was trying to take a closer look. A FREAKING TINY WHITE WORM WIGGLED ITS BODY INTO AND OUT OF THE FLESH?! At this moment, I had a small bite of the flesh inside my mouth, which i had chewed a few times while I was inspecting the fruit further. And BOY, I was spitting it out all over the table, running to the bath room to gargle and throwing up my dinner, all while panicking, getting confused and feeling increasingly infuriated. Tried calling the front desk in my rage, but the phone was absolutely dead, BRAVO. So i had to message the guest manager, to have someone come and clean up the scene. The manager came only 15 minutes later, which game me just enough time to come to acceptance and capture the treasured pics (they were videos) of the colony of worms in my welcome fruit. Manager came with a sorry face apologizing and cleaned up the mess, while having the balls to ask if they could offer any other fruit instead, like I WOULD EAT ANOTHER PIECE OF FRUIT FROM THIS HOTEL EVER AGAIN?! The scene was so traumatizing, that I could not bear to have any fruit for the next 10 days, as the replays of the wiggling worms was lingering in my head for two weeks straight. The breakfast (1/5): The other morning, i was starving from throwing up my dinner last night, so i decided to try only fail-safe fully cooked food for breakfast, for obvious reasons. Told the welcoming staff I need to leave soon so would prefer a table closer to the entrance. The staff could not bother to entertain the ask and more than ready to dismiss me, saying none of the entrance area tables are ready and effectively showing me tables all the way inside. I had to stand next to a table that was getting cleaned up and urgently them to speed things up and have me seated. Also by the time I left, i realized there were plenty of tables outside the entrance other staffs are getting people seated at, which my welcome staff completely ignored. Food was ok and again nondescript as you’d expect from any 5-star establishment in the area.

Very good, the pool suite exceeded expectations, housekeeping and breakfast are very recommended, and the overall feeling of the hotel is great.

Our vacation went just fine! We really enjoyed it, the kids were in Totally delighted. I want to mention the children's room separately, the children really enjoyed it. The hotel as a whole is on a very high level, excellent cuisine (must take with breakfast, will not regret), comfortable rooms and attentive personnel. It's all thought through to the nitty-gritty.
