Timton International Hotel

Apparently it was once a 5* hotel, now it's a 3*. I'll try to be brief about the pros and cons of the hotel, I'll say more cons right away. Pros: -located close to the sea, across the road, not through the underpass -big room, tea, coffee, water added every day cleaning every day, changing towels too. Cons: -the safe didn't work immediately, I had to replace it. -bed linen changed twice in 9 nights -after 7 days, the horses broke and we were moved from the 8th to the 7th floor, where the safe was also not working, and the toilet was leaking. -on the 8th floor erupted concrete floor with tiles in the hallway, where the entrance to the room, first put up a sign about danger, redesigned only after 3 days. -at breakfasts, mostly Chinese cuisine, took vegetables and muesli, eggs. And most importantly, there were no fork-knives, goodness we came with our own and walked for tomorrow like a banner) thank you who wrote about this moment earlier in the reviews. On the 8th day, the restaurant had forks-knives). -the beach is public, but opposite the hotel, in the bush, there is an old cemetery. And this year there were a lot of mosquitoes or sand fleas, in 2025 there were none, vacationed at Ocean Sonic.(this hotel near Timton and much better in level) were bitten terribly. Get ointments and sprays. -the hotel requires a lot of renovation, furniture from moisture has been deformed, the shower door was not closed tightly, in the room on the 7th floor a very worn spring mattress, you can see the springs and feel them with your body. Conclusion: we're not going back to this hotel.

The hotel looks very attractive from the outside and was probably a real gem in the early 2000s. But inside you can already feel the age: furniture, interior and many details have long needed updating. Before my trip I read reviews about how instead of a full toilet door - a curtain. Honestly, I didn't believe it until I saw it myself. If you travel with friends or girlfriends, this format can be uncomfortable. The showers and chandeliers were noticeably dirty, as were many of the lamps in the room. Wooden furniture swelled with humidity in places. On the plus side - bathroom facilities are provided in full, cleaning is done daily, and the cleaning staff is very friendly and polite. However, the same cannot be said for the staff at the reception, restaurant and meeting area - it feels like people are tired of both work and guests. The atmosphere of hospitality was not felt. Breakfasts are mainly oriented towards Chinese cuisine: noodles, rice, soups and local dishes. Classic European breakfasts are almost non-existent, but you can still find something to eat. The ocean view is really beautiful, but it is worth choosing your room carefully: some friends have "sea view" turned out to be at the same time a view of the adjacent construction. In the evenings, live music plays by the pool, but there are virtually no other activities at the hotel. The sea is about five minutes away, but the beach is public - without sunbeds or any infrastructure. Overall, the hotel is not bad, but it clearly needs major renovation and renovation to meet modern guest expectations

The hotel is as good as it looks. But the furniture looks very old, maybe because of the humid climate. It was easy to be close to the airport, bus station and the sea. Breakfast is delicious. It was a bit difficult because the hotel staff did not speak English.
