Lake View Garden Hotel

Beautiful locations, Beautiful architecture, lovely interiors, very well priced, but the room looked small & the furniture was not properly maintained, the buffet was well spread but the English names were missing

Rooms are jaded and the carpet hasnt probably been changed in a while. However good value for money considering the nice lake surroundings and breakfast provided. You need a car to travel around from this hotel

I have gone to Lake View Garden Hotel every year since 2007 for an IT conference. The hotel has a beautiful lobby with ornate wood and stone carvings. The rooms are well appointed but a little cramped and the air conditioning is well, a little tepid. The breakfast and lunch buffets were outstanding. Hotel staff have good English and are both helpful and competent. I wish there were a lobby bar; there is a karaoke and massage center across the driveway, somewhat pricey for what's offered. Unfortunately it is a 40 minute walk to either the Guang Gu or Hu Quan MRT stops, although cab and bus service is available on Luoyu Lu (out front) if you can speak a little Mandarin.
