Motel168 Wuhan ZhongShan Park Inn

This motel has very old outdated rooms. The bathroom in my room was nice and updated but everything else was in need of replacement. No English channels on the TV. Hard for the taxi driver to find so make sure you take the phone number with you so he can call for directions. On the good side the location is great next to a subway station and my room was very quiet. The staff I dealt with on checkin speaks NO english so good luck if you have any issues while at the hotel. They couldn't find my Agoda reservation and it took them 3 hours to find it before giving me my room.

The location is great! Near to Wuguang, the center of the center in Wuhan city. The check in was ok, but I booked last week, but they arranged one room in the end of the corridor, one nearby lift for my colleague. The rooms are ok. But my neighbor was a bit noisy, or maybe because lately I couldn't stand any noise during sleep, too much sensitive. Anyway, no complains for my neighbors. :-p But the room facilities, the A/C works but too much noisy, I had to power it off to sleep(my colleague also complains about this point this morning). Hmmmm, one thing worth mention: once I entered, I've noticed 2 lights were not working, informed waitress. Then a guy came to change the light, I told him the light in front of mirror is very important for me because I need to make up the next day morning(this morning), he said ok. He worked about 15 mins, he took one of the Small table inside room to toilet to step on to reach the light.. I said nothing about this, anyway it's a cheap hotel, you can't ask too much. The thing I want to complain is after he changed the broken one(there're 2 lights in total in front of the light), it seems same as only one light! The light works same as without it! Trust me, I was shocked! I asked him how comes the new light is so dark? He replies they(the newly changed light and the old working one) are the same, both 25w, and then he left.. NO comments! Eh, cheap hotel, cheap service... I was thinking to take a pic as a proof, but forgot in the end, left in a hurry.. but anyway, I stayed in room 1102 at 17th Aug, 2011. If you can check, I mean.. The other things Actually quite pleasant: check out fast, kept my luggage for the afternoon.. Even helped me to find a staff room to change suit(was wearing very formal, better change back to leisure for the trip) before I leave..
