Lantian Hotel - Zhangjiajie

I went there for couples night to visit the Avatar mountain and the Tianmen mountain. This hotel was great but far away from everything by public transportation it was difficult by Didi it is ok but except this everything was ok.

Firstly, we booked from ctrip and they didnot receive our booking. So, we had a little drama in the mid night when we just arrived in ZhangJiaJie city. But it's all cleared because we can speak Chinese, but they can't speak English at all. And since they got this 'sudden' booking came in, they gave us their last rooms available and it seems and upgrade room because I didn't book this big ones. Unfortunately, one of the rooms' toilet lamps were broken. We called the reception and they said no more room to change or they wanted to come and fixed the lights right in the mid night! So we refused because we were really too tired after long flights and decided to take bath in dark. The room was good and clean. Breakfast of Chinese food was also good. They took a little longer time to check out because they did room checking but we were already rushed by our tours.

But the hotel is quite a bit out of the way if you like to wander around the streets. Rooms were clean - average quality. Breakfast was OK but not outstanding. As I said, it is not really close to the downtown area or the park area.
