Kayumanis

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Kayumanis Nanjing Private Villa and Spa. Upon arrival at the Nanjing train station, promptly contacted to ensure able to locate the driver for transit to the property. Very nice and educational trip to the property seeing some sights and hearing about the local area. Upon arrival, check in was very quick and professional outlining the services provided. A quick golf cart trip to arrival at a very private and spacious villa. The one bedroom villa was completely private with walls and landscaping providing a secluded getaway to enjoy the private pool and hot springs jacuzzi. The villa was well equipped with living room including Bose music, tv, kitchen and sitting area. Bedroom was a short walk away down a glass hallway with spacious area, French doors to patio, nice bathroom with tub, shower and dual sinks. An outside shower was also available to take advantage of the outdoor surroundings. Service throughout the visit was wonderful. With only 21 villas, very few people around except for breakfast or afternoon tea (both included in the room rate). Offerings were many with Indonesian, Chinese and American menu options. All cooked to order with very quick service in a relaxing indoor/outdoor environment. Spa was very quaint with exceptional service and therapists from Bali. Start off with ginger tea, foot bath add proceed with the treatment in private room. Upon conclusion, more tea and cinnamon cookies. Daily activities include the private pool at the villa, nice hiking near by and bikes available to enjoy the local towns and outlet shopping mall. A property to keep on the list of favorites for return trip soon!

If you travel to Nanjing, take the opportunity to go outside the site to see the "Paradise". The private pool is couple meters from the bed, the SPA just around the corner. After one day, you will decide to change the flight ticket.....

We were trapped by the beautiful pictures they show in their website but when we got there it was a terrible surprise! Poorly cleaned, the windows and the restaurant were so dirty that it looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months! The food was very bad and overpriced. We hated the hotel so much we couldn't stay for one night! The only good thing we can say about this hotel is that the gentleman in the front desk was very polite and helpful. We showed him the spider webs in our room and in the restaurant and he got so embarrassed about it he arranged a car to take us back to Nanjing city centre.
