Landison Hotel Nantong

Stayed here a few times and it’s good value for money but doesn’t have a bar, Food in the Thai restaurant is excellent and had a very good quality menu and the sushi and lobster are great. Worth a try!

Quick check in September 2019, 3 nights, on fifth floor. Room good size. Carpet worn down, stained. Wallpaper peeling in so many areas. No CNN or BBC. No electric outlets near bed. Only one outlet by desk. Hallways had off door in the evening, no ventilation. Elevator slow & stuffy. Coffee ok. Good fresh fruit & vegetables. Amenities in room ok, except towels somewhat worn. Two bottles of water. AC a bit noisy. Closet door very difficult to slide open. Bed & pillows very comfortable. No safe in room. Lighting average.

The Landison is a standard but good budiness hotel that can be recommended. Rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices. There is not much to do in the proximity, but if you have a car or driver you should do o.k. I understand that there are not many similar hotels in that region. English is spoken at the reception but not very good.
