IHG should be ashamed to have this hotel as part of their system. Several items were either missing or in discrepancy to their standing policy. 1. English is well understood through a phone translator, Otherside, forget it. 2. Room Service is only offered between 5:30 to 9:30 pm and has to be ordered 12 hours in advance. 3. Of the five items they have available on the menu for a main course, two of them are not available. Of the three desserts, nothing is available. 4. Of the 13 English speaking channels on the TV, none of them are available. Unless you speak Chinese, there is nothing, including news, available. 5. Internet service is spotty at best. If you are American or European, find somewhere else to stay that has better rates and access to more than just a bed.

When I first stepped into the hotel, I was amazed by the huge Christmas tree. As Christmas was approaching, the decoration atmosphere of the hotel lobby and the western restaurant was particularly great. The service attitude of the ladies at the front desk was very professional, which made people feel comfortable and cozy. The guest room required a room card to enter the elevator, which made people feel safe. The room was just the right size, beautifully laid out, clean and tidy. The breakfast was a combination of Chinese and Western food, with a rich variety and good taste. The most important thing was the superior geographical location. There were all kinds of snack streets in the square around, so it was very convenient to buy things, go shopping and watch movies. There was a gym on the 4th floor, which was really convenient for fitness guests. Holiday Inn will be my first choice when I go to Taicang in the future, 👍👍👍! ! ! !
