It's not just hotel it's feel like a palace But if you are alone and don't speak Chinese then it might be difficult to get any additional help than room as staff barely speak English But it very comfortable and cozy place

Lovely property with semi-private park. During political conferences the hotel is filled with Party bureaucrats and it's difficult to get to the main building by taxi, since you'll be stopped at the main gate. But in spring and autumn the walk from the gate to the building is definitely not unpleasant, if you can avoid the Party limo's.

This was a brief one night visit during a visit to the nearby Jiling University. The hotel and meal service was very good. It was quite cold outside, and I didn't have much time but the grounds are quite nice. Other reviewers have mentioned the high security when dignitaries visit, but fortunately that wasn't the case for mine. We had a very group dinner that featured the local cuisine. It is a bit outside of the main town, so you should count on taking a taxi rather than walking for most places if you want to eat outside the hotel.
