The lobby of the hotel was very nice and communicating was not a problem. The morning breakfast was good. As another reviewer mentioned the beds were very hard but I was still able to sleep. Every morning I would wake up with some new insect bites. Having stayed in an apartment before which had bed bugs, I am certain this hotel had a bed bug problem. I counted about 12 bites over the 3 nights I stayed there. Next time if I have to stay in this hotel I will make sure to get a deluxe room.

As in many Chinese hotels the beds are very hard but the staff was willing to bring as many comforters as I needed to make the bed soft enough for my western tastes. English speakers are very hard to come by but there are one or two managers who do quite well. If I go back to Jilin I will most likely stay there as it is out of the center of the city and much quieter. The room was clean, laundry service was excellent (same day). The food selections were just fine including western (sort of) , Korean, and Chinese of course. The gift shop is wayyyyy overpriced! Go to the city to buy things.
