Golden Stone Tang Feng International Hot Spring Hotel - Dali

Tang Feng was a stellar Jinshitan attraction last year, and the year before, but now it's even better. Improvements have been made for the summer of 2017. The water is clearer, there are three new lifeguard chairs by the pool, and there are lots of decorative fish in the pond by the entrance. Tang Feng has some new competition as the Yitang resort has opened in a location closer to Golden Pebble Beach. Now visitors have two great hot spring resorts with swimming pools to choose from in Jinshitan, Dalian, China.

We visited the hot springs as a family last spring and found the experience better than what we had expected. The staff were welcoming, friendly and courteous in the changing rooms. towels and robes available for use and very very clean. We like the indoor pool with the foot foliation excercise. Jet spas looked great but were not in use on the day as they were being cleaned. The different outdoor pools weren't too far from each other so popping in and out in the chilly spring air wasn't too bad. the kids enjoyed the kids section with the decorative features and the indoor pool looked welcoming too. Its a bit of a distance to get to from either Jinshitan Light rail station or the city but there are taxis available. The hot spring area itself wouldn't go wrong with a snack area for guests after a hot soak especially if they aren't checked in to the hotel and just there for a day trip.

Golden Pebble Tang Dynasty International Hot Spring Resort in the JinShiTan or Golden Pebble Beach area of Dalian really rocks. It is a beautiful looking place in a very scenic spot, nestled in the Black Mountains beside theYellow Sea, surrounded by hills with great hiking trails. The indoor swimming pool is first rate and the two dozen outdoor hot springs pools are terrific, too. Two indoor pools have "doctor fish" that take the dead skin off your feet. There is an underground restaurant, a tea room, massage rooms, and many other features. The buildings and landscape bring back the Tang Dynasty in a way that suits 2015. In the wintertime, there is a ski hill, with ski and snowboard rentals.
