Sunrise International Hotel

We stayed in this hotel to attend a wedding. The rooms are large and ample space for luggages and shopping bags. Bath and shower equipped. Seasons Restaurant at level 2 served good range of food selection. We were there looking around the staff Leah 龙宇飞 was very kind and patient with us. Showed us the different sizes of private dining rooms and also introduced us to the opposite bar. She is always smiling and makes our stay happy and most pleasant one. One issue though. The hotel still allows smoking in common areas eg private dining rooms (with guests once in a while will walk into the common dining area). That was very unpleasant. Smoking were also allowed in bedrooms. The hotel is located near to the shopping street, Zhong Jie. There is a Guo Lao snack shop just opposite the hotel that sells a dish similar to Gyoza but longer in shape. Convenient shops located opposite and behind the hotels are a plus point. Also pharmacies. We took the bus to Shenyang Forbidden Palace and Zhong Jie (Central Street) which cost only RMB2 per person and short distance. Easy to get around with.

We arrived late on the Hotel, and we were well received. We had the chance to be overclassified , and had our night in a suite. So much place, with very big saloon, nice chinese decoration, a good bed, and 2 toilets. Never had an experience with so much place in a hotel. All was very clean, included the bathroom.

Stayed at this hotel two nights from the 16th till the 18th of August. Pleasant stay, room was nice and big, but a little worn out! The hotel is getting old, and would not rate it 5* but 4*! The bathroom and the lifts tell the hotel of age, overall the experience was pleasant but for the price I think you can do better living at the CBD shanyang! The Internet and breakfast were pleasant, but they could do with more western dishes and a little less Chinese! The lift floor needs changing as it's pretty dirty and gives the hotel a bad impression! Overall OK if have work nearby!
