GaoXin Business Hotel

Enjoyed the stay. Quiet place. Good service. Convenient location. Close proximity to city centre and restaurants. Hotel Management should think about adding a fitness centre and swimming pool to the facilities. Also require multi-linguistic personnel. Communicating in english found to be difficult.

I stayed one night in this hotel as a break from a community project my group was involved in. It was a large hotel with comfortable rooms. I wish bottled water had been provided; I had to buy it in the hotel shop, with the inevitable wait because they had no change for a 20 yuan note. There is no business centre, so I could not access the internet, but if you have your own computer, there is an internet connection in each room. Staff spoke no English, but a Mandarin phrasebook was handy in conveying needs eg finding an English language TV station. It was CCTV9, so it was interesting to get Chinese government news for one night. No BBC, CCN etc
