Wannian Grand

We booked the Wannian for 2 nights but checked out after 1 night. The room was nothing like the photos on the website. The carpets in the corridors and the room were filthy and loose. The towels looked clean but had a very strange smell off them and the room disgustingly smelt of smoke but the beds were clean but rock hard. The service was very poor and some of the Staff were smoking in the Lobby. The breakfast was just about edible.

Stayed here with a tour group and we had no complaints. Our room was large and clean, with clean towels and bottled water provided daily. Breakfast was excellent- with both Chinese buffet options and Western bacon and eggs. The beds were slightly hard but comfy none the less, as is standard in China.

We stayed here as part of a group. Even though the hotel went out of their way to accommodate our early check-in, the rooms were not clean upon arrival. It was cleaned again later. The carpets in the hotel are awful, shabby and dirty. The worst was the filthy bathrooms in the lobby (ladies). During our two day stay it did not improve and we were not able to use it. Toilets, floors and basins were extremely dirty, no toilet paper. I would not like to stay here again. Definitely not a four star hotel. It looks old and dated.
