Yang Yang International Hotel - Xi'an

This hotel is conveniently located to the hospital (across the street) but far from the city center. No malls or shops nearby that I could find. Hotel is mostly serviced apartments with the top five floors 25-30 being the hotel rooms. The restaurant is on the top floor (31). Cons: The room had a bad smell, a mixture of urine and tobacco smoke. The last day, there was no hot water. Breakfast was average. Could not control the room temperature. Little or no English by reception. Communicated using a translator on a cell phone. Pros: Bed was reasonably comfortable. WiFi was OK. Make sure you use the right signal (FAST). There was an old computer in the room with a lan line. I unplugged it and put it into my laptop and it worked fine. Convenient if you have meeting in the hospital.

We liked this hotel, especially the free laundry and dryers for foreigners! The area was fine, and some shops and restaurants around. Subway is convenient to get around. Clean hotel and spacious enough!
