Huaneng

Originally we have booked to stay in this hotel for 4 nights in August 2016. Being disappointed, we moved to another hotel on the next day. The location of the hotel is in the centre of the city and close to the famous Daminghu and the Dubai Spring. That's about all of its good point. The receptionist is inefficient and less than helpful. Hotel is old and stale. The carpet in the room smeels and carpet looks mouldy. It claims to be a 4 star hotel which it does not deserve. If you pay only a little bit more you can enjoy a true 5 star hotel nearby and get your money's worth. Will not recommend this hotel to my friends.

Location :- Not so easy to find in JinanCity. Hotel Lobby :- Good , Flooding with chinese girls in the late because of Karaoke Bar on 1st Floor with a loud music playing on. Reception & Check In :- No one in the hotel speaks even a little of english - I tell u that they dont even know the A Alphabet of english. Rooms : - Filthy , dirty , full of Stains ,Bad Showers. Aircondition :- Now this is the best part of the hotel that sucks ,they switched of the A.C plant because the temprature outseide the hotel was 26 Celcius.Although the room temprature showed me 31 Degree Celcius.After around 30 mins of nagging i asked my chinese supplier to co ordinate with them in chinese and she explained to me that they switch off the A.C plant & they will now start only in the morning.Not before 8 A.M.So it was already 2 A.M in the night & the person at reception was more busy punching his door keys for the visitors of group checking in tomorrow morning , rather then listening to my query. Later i asked for a Cooler or a fan , so a person came up with the fan definetely after 15 mins or so even which was not enough for such a big size of room so i asked for 1 more & the same guy was up again after 10 mins or so , but the best part was that the cooler need to be filled up with the water , so i had to fill the water in the cooler in the middle of night after a long day of work . So around 3.15 Am i was done filling the water & open the windows just to allow some more fresh air to come inside. & probably tried hard sleeping with the temprature at 27 Degree Celcius or so. In an all i paid 428 RMB for a cheap kind of dirty , flithy hotel whose staff stinks more then the walls & linens of the hotel i think. Please do not ever go this hotel ,even if it is offered for free.

good location with renovated room. Good pricing as well. Located opposite big shopping plaza with choices of goods and foods. Street noise start at 7.30am but it is ok for me as i am awake. Plenty of local restaurant nearby but only speak mandarin.
