Huaxing Hotel - Jinan

Stayed here for 3 days as part of a local organization sponsored event, and as an invited guest. Hotel is ancient and looks like it was given a facelift a few years ago, to give a more modern glass front on the lower floors, as well as to smarten up the interiors. Pluses for the food where we were treated to private room banquets for a lunch and evening, as part of the event. The hotels versions of the local cuisine, "Lu Cai" were top notch. Not surprising as the ballroom is the place where local party events and formalities are apparently held. All in all a comfortable, and I understand a relatively inexpensive stay.
