The level of English at the reception is very much a hit and miss. The rooms are comfy, and the internet is OK but be prepared for the Chinese surf restrictions. The breakfast buffet is very decent. The location of the hotel is not touristy, but if you need to be in that industrial area then this is a good hotel.

My second time after one full week last year: nothing has improved. In particular: old (10-15yo) and scratched furniture, terrible internet connection (drops every other minute), personnel don't speak English almost at all. In the end, this is average China as soon as You move outside Shanghai downtown.
